The Power of the Hover
The challenge was to communicate "good," sustainable energy through a simple and expected action like hovering over the card. The goal was to achieve a result that would evoke an immediate and clear image of clean energy, with a button that wouldn't "pollute" this outcome.
Communicating Clean Energy with Elegance
The goal of the project was to create two interactive card prototypes that would:
- Communicate the benefits of sustainable energy in a clear and concise way
- Engage users with a visually appealing and interactive experience
- Be easily accessible by anyone
A Visually Appealing and Interactive Experience
The solution was to create two card prototypes that feature a simple and elegant mouse hover effect. When the user hovers over the card, an elegant color gradient animation is triggered that illustrates the shows colors acting like "elegant" electric energy.
The button on the card is also designed to be visually appealing and non-intrusive. The button is a simple outline square with an arrow. When the user hovers on the button, something cool happens without capturing your attention from the main effect.
